The town of Carrboro sent out this announcement:
The Town of Carrboro is developing a Comprehensive Bicycle Plan that will guide future bicycle improvements in Carrboro and we want YOU to be part of the process.
The plan is intended to reflect the needs and wishes of the community; therefore, the Town is asking for your input: the first of two public meetings will be held on April 10th, 2008 in the cafeteria of Carrboro Elementary (400 Shelton Street). Please stop by anytime between 4:30 – 7:30 PM to learn more about the project, talk to Town staff and project consultants, and provide your input to the process.
The Town wants to hear the citizens' priorities for bicycle facilities and programs. Visit the project website: www.greenways.com/pages/CarrboroBicycle.html, which includes a flyer for the workshop, houses project information and contains a link to an online comment form for you to fill out.
