Come join us for some great community service! Our Mobile Repair Days on September 15th and 22nd were both great successes. Our final repair day of the fall season will be on Saturday October 13th. C'mon down! We need all the helping hands and enthusiasm possible.
What's a Mobile Repair Day? Well, we pack up some trailers and ride out to a neighborhoods to work with kids (of all ages) & their bikes closer to their homes; it's essentially a mobile ReCYCLEry & this is your invitation. Read on for more details....
MEET at the ReCYCLEry at 9:30 am and help pack up supplies, recruit some trailer haulers, and roll out of the ReCYCLERY AT 10:15 AM. Of course, we're all wearing helmets to set a good example to the next generation of bicycle activists and enthusiasts.
BRING your bike, a cup for water, your helmet and all your friends!
EXPECT to teach and learn, talk and play, and eat and enjoy a free lunch in the style of vegetarian sandwich fixins as provided by the ReCYCLEry.
Saturday, Oct. 13th, we're riding to Dobbin's Hills Apartments (in the vicinity of Lowes Lumber). We're planing to wrench from 11am-4pm; if you can't stay the whole time you should still come for part of the time! And we need folks to hang out with kids as much as fix bicycles; if you've got a good group game bring it along.
See you on Saturday!
