Our public meeting on April 4 at UNC was a great success! We had over 70 attendees, many of which were UNC students. We also received a good deal of feedback through our online survey, and appreciate you taking the time to fill it out.
I've attached the April 4 meeting minutes for those who are interested. Based on feedback from the meeting and our members, we have created an online registration form and payment mechanism for the BUB program at www.surgenetwork.org/blueurbanbikes/membershipform.html [1].
We are also planning to expand to 4 new hubs this spring/summer, thanks in part to a recent grant from the Town of Chapel Hill. The expansion will include a hub at Town Hall in Chapel Hill and (tentatively) the UNC student union. We are in discussions with several businesses about a Carrboro hub and hubs on East Franklin St and/or Meadowmont. Please let us know if you have any potential hub locations in mind and/or
could help encourage a local business to become a hub.
We will notify our members as new hubs are confirmed, and hope you enjoy using the program this spring and summer!
Best,
Alison Carpenter
